In 2008 TRICS, in partnership with RTPI, celebrates 20 years of its Transport and Development Conference. This year, the world’s changing economic and environmental climate has meant that the transport and development industry has rarely been out of the media spotlight.  The theme of the conference is “Local Transport in a Global Context”, and it will address the current global issues through plenary and parallel sessions, workshops, study tours and case studies. 

This year’s event includes a number of high-profile speakers, including ex-London Mayoral candidate Steven Norris, and also includes a choice of interesting workshop sessions, including a trip to see the transport infrastructure around the new Wembley Stadium. This is also an ideal opportunity for you to network with others within the industry, especially at the annual Conference Dinner, which for the first time will be followed by an interactive quiz!
